Hectane is the personal blog of Velu S Gautam, a place to think out loud and keep notes on things worth remembering.

It started as a bookmark for myself: a spot to write down the small lessons from work and life before they slipped away. Over time it has become a mix of the ideas I'm turning over, stories from the paths I've taken, honest write-ups of interviews I've sat through (the good ones and the humbling ones), and debug notes: the fixes I spent far too long finding and never want to look for again.

None of it tries to be the final word on anything. These are working notes from someone still learning, shared in public in case they save you an afternoon, help you get ready for your next interview, or just remind you that everyone hits the same walls.
